Well, the thing to look for is that the online university is accredited. This site has quite a few listed on it. Just browse throught the different programs and it will list a few schools with their information for you.

I will be applying to colleges this coming fall and would like to start searching for some scholarships to help out with the costs which I will come to face, do you know of any good online scholarship search engines available for free which could aid me in finding scholarships? Thanks in advance.

I always think "Goolgle" is for education, no matter what. "Yahoo" is more entertainment, but my computer instructor use yahoo. I think start with both then go on with the other. Money talks, let you fingers running; your eyes search for the best.

how to apply to scholarships online….can any one help?

I cant seem to figure out how exactly to apply to scholarships online. I press on the link that gets attached to the scholarship memo but it leads me to the website where i cant find where to press for the application or essay prompt. HELP :)

Don’t waste your time with all those other sites, just go straight to the source. If there’s a scholarship for your situation, it’s at FastWeb. They are the biggest, oldest, and best scholarship website out there. You get your registration accepted immediately if you go to this link btw: http://bit.ly/aIB5sQ

Good luck!

has anybody had any luck with fastweb or other online scholarship search engines?

I’m just looking for a little evidence that people actually are awarded some of these? Before I go and work my tail off submitting essay after essay to scholarships that came up through fastweb or other online scholarship opportunities I thought I would check on here.

i would say the opposite of the other responder. having used fastweb, filling out application after application, plus writing 10+ scholarship essays when applying on fastweb i didn’t receive a single scholarship- even with a 4.0 GPA, 200 hours of logged community service, and a 32 on the ACT…

I am a senior in high school, so I am trying to win scholarships. So far, I haven’t won any. I have an account on fastweb.com, and I am trying really hard to win money for college. Does anyone know any quick scholarships that I can apply for; something where I don’t have to do much since I am busy writing essays for other scholarships?

I am going to school online. Where can a mom find actual scholarships that don’t require you to buy something?

Posted by admin on February 23rd, 2010 and filed under online scholarships | 1 Comment »

I cannot find scholarships that do not require you to buy something off a site first. I am going for my bachelor’s degree this fall and need more that just a grant from my student loan. I would be very grateful for the help. I am a married mom of three and my husband and I are currently unemployed.

The first step in obtaining financial aid is always to complete the FAFSA. After you get your EFC (expected family contribution) amount from them, contact your school’s financial aid advisor.

I have never found an online financial aid help site that didn’t want something from me. They are scams.
