Adolph Rupp: Myth, Legend, and Fact

What started as an interesting sports story has turned into a fascinating documentary on legendary University of Kentucky basketball coach Adolph Rupp. Dick Gabriel of WKYT-TV (Lexington, KY) and the Big Blue Sports Network has produced the definitive modern-era report on the myths and facts behind Coach Rupp’s racist reputation. Gabriel’s documentary is a straight-on look at the accusations made against Rupp over the years supported by interesting, insightful interviews with many former players, coaches and friends of coach Rupp such as C. M. Newton, Larry Conley, former Rupp assistant coach Neil Reed and Jim Tucker, an African-American from Paris, Kentucky for whom coach Rupp helped arrange a scholarship to Duquesne University in the 1950’s. Adolph Rupp: Myth, Legend and Fact may change some people’s view of coach and at the very least provide documented fact behind the perhaps fictional racist image of one of the country’s greatest collegiate coaches.

Does McGill University offer scholarships to international students?

Posted by admin on January 27th, 2010 and filed under university scholarships | 1 Comment »

I would really like to enroll at McGill University, but I am from the United States and annual tuition can range from $14,000-$22,000. Obviously, I would like to know if scholarship money can be offered. I have tried to research this for myself, but I haven’t found anything even discussing scholarships… Does anyone know?

I found some info about getting this scholarship online in this scholarship database – careers.scienceontheweb.net
