Fastweb.com is a website where you put in all sorts of information about yourself and they match scholarships to you for you to apply for. Most grants are for people without a lot of money, don’t worry.

Absolutely!
There are now more and more scholarships for returning students especially in areas of high need such as nursing and education. If you know what you are wanting to study then go to the department of the college you want to attend and find out information about what is available for that specific program. Go to the financial aid office as well and inquire about more global scholarships. Once upon a time there was something called a lindhurst program for students returning to college to become educators.
Sometimes scholarships may involve some time of community service or commitment to work in a rural area for a certain amount of time so check them out thoroughly.
Good luck

no you do not have to be a woman or a mexican to get a scholarship or tuition discount. Scholarship usually is dependent on writing an essay with a specific number of words and also your GPA and if you apply.
Financial aid is determined using your income tax returns from last year. Everyone can qualify if they are in the low income bracket. My guess is it is based on if your annual income is less than $16,000. could be more or less

my suggestion would be to take courses toward a degree at a community college. It’s not only less expensive there than a 4-year college, but the certificate or AA degree programs last only 2 years, and you can go to school in the evenings while you still work. Right now with the tight economy and recession there are several types of jobs not to even try to go into. The ones that are still available are in healthcare, teaching, the energy field, global jobs, computers, and jobs like plumbing and ac. Good luck.
