		<description>Yes, in fact, there are scholarships and grants available specifically for students like you: transfers. Do a little research and find a few of them. Also check with the department you plan to major in and see if they have any department-specific scholarships you can apply for. And fill out the FAFSA, there are still grants through the feds that you can get as a transfer student.

And GREAT plan to go to community college first; that will save you more than some people get in grants and scholarships! I speak from experience! :-)
