You should contact the Financial Aid Office of the College that you want to transfer to after your 2 years at the Community College to find out how to apply for aid. Each financial aid office has its own priority filing deadlines.

You should also contact the Financial Aid Office of the Community College that you want to attend to ask about applying for financial aid, too.

You can search for scholarships at these possible websites:

You can apply for Federal and State financial aid (grants, loans, scholarships) any time that you are a post-secondary student. This is contingent on the fact that any previous loans have not gone into default status, of course. In that case, you won't be eligible for any Federal or State financial aid.

The student is responsible for finding and applying for scholarships. And remember, scholarships must be applied to EARLY!
