The University of Toledo announced the Scholarly Savings Account Program on October 22, 2009. The program will give any 8th grade student in the country who signs up for the initiative $2,000 per successful year of high school for them to use toward tuition at UT. When they enter The University of Toledo, they will have $10,000 to help them reach a goal many of them might think is out of reach, a college degree.
